Selected by Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials(KIMM) project to develop 3000cc or 5000cc/hr cartridges for rapid dispensing of anticancer drugs (smart system)

We have been selected for the 2024 2nd Industry Supported Basic Project (ACE) project "Development of multipurpose injectable dispensing pump based on large-capacity cylinder cartridge" hosted by Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials (KIMM). This project is a joint development project with the Medical Machinery Research Center, Daegu Convergence Technology Research Center, KIMM.

We aim to develop a large-capacity cylinder cartridge of 3000cc or 5000cc/hr, which can dispense at least 30~40 pieces per hour, up to 60 pieces per day, and more than 300~400 pieces per day of anticancer drugs, TPN, PCA balloon filling, fluid dispensing, etc.

And, it will be a smart system fully automatic dispensing equipment with automatic closure of vials and containers, dispensing audit program, bar code scanner function and HIS.

The existing cylinder cartridge is a small-scale smart system dispensing equipment for the system that operates in university (type) hospitals and disperses treatment and treatment to clinics, which is necessary equipment for the dispensing market in the United States and Japan, and the large-capacity cylinder cartridge developed in this project is a smart system fully automatic ACPi equipment for the mass dispensing market.

As a result of identifying the global dispensing market with the existing SA (Semi Auto) ACPi, the ACPi system will become a dispensing equipment that does not require a pharmacist (professional engineer) or a person as the only technology that dispenses cartridges and machines for the CSTD function without using syringes. Manual equipment using existing pumps has not been able to generate satisfactory response and performance in domestic and overseas markets due to limited functions and insufficient functions and performance such as lack of bar code scanner and dispensing audit program.

With the opportunity of this project, we would like to become the main equipment in the global pharmacy market with automatic bulk dispensing and small volume dispensing ACPi system in BSC, which does not require human physical force that is impossible with syringe method.

Thank you.
