Meinntech was selected for the new product test support project of Korea Health Industry Development Institute that was submitted with H Professor of Anesthesiology at SNU Bundang Hospital as Pl. After the contract is finalized in March, tests will be conducted to verify the clinical efficacy, safety, and stability of Anyfusion.

As stated in the British Journal of Nursing 2012 Vol21, No.8, under the title of “Analysis of Infusion pump error logs and their significance for health care”, problems that the existing pump has 5% of alarm rate to total use time, medical accidents caused by carelessness or inappropriateness of care, risk of medical accidents caused by inappropriate replacement of infusion pump or syringe pump due to structural and inherent problem, Anyfusion will verify the effectiveness, safety and stability of Anyfusion that solves most of the problems.

Through these tests, the results will be published and presented that will inform Anyfusion’s competitiveness to domestic and abroad market, solve the problem of being reluctant on using domestic medical devices which have lowest reliability; thus turn the perception to innovative medical device that was developed with genuine Korean own technology.

The feeling we received during the selection process is that the drug infusion pump is very important part of the patient’s treatment and it is the most problematic medical device in the world. Furthermore US FDA has continuously requested separate management and solution to the problem to manufacturers, establishing the programs to encourage alternative product development. Even though the product has yearly 800 million dollars market scale, they are too old, ordinary, and limited to domestic market.

In addition, Gil Hospital was not selected, however, regardless of this selection, we conducted the normal test to verify the superiority, effectiveness and safety of Anyfusion in various fields and will utilize to develop the global market.
