In case of accidents such as collapsed buildings, car accidents, war, earthquake and falls, excessive bleeding patients can occur. Until now, patients transported by ambulance and after that, the patients could have treated blood transfusion. However, the process takes a lot of time to transport patients to the hospital, increase the mortality rate, or patients with severe disorder was often a problem.

If ambulance, emergency helicopter equipped with a portable blood transfusion pump along the blood-type checker, cross-matching checker and the test kit, number of emergent patients’ life can be saved. Hence, Meinntech has decided to develop the portable blood transfusion pump by applying the technology of Anyfusion pump(Cylinder-type infusion pump).

Throughout this blood transfusion pump development, ambulance vehicle and emergency helicopter can equipped the pump so we can contribute to save more patients’ life in terms of prevention of excessive bleeding and financial burdens.

To improve the quality of life, reduce the death caused by the accident, Meinntech has submitted RFP to the Ministry of Knowledge Economy’s new growth energies, equipment challenges field.
